Walkthrough
Now that you’ve washed off all the extremely filthy gunk, sit back and enjoy some coffee with Mr. Saturn. With your courage and determination renewed, head into the nearby cave to claim another power spot for your own.
Once you’re done, take a final dip in the hot spring and head back to Threed, where a throng of happy citizens await your return. The land is restored, and you’re finally able to travel — not only back to Twoson and Onett, but forward to the next city! Flag down the next bus to Fourside.
Unfortunately a herd of buffalo is stampeding across the desert between Threed and Fourside, causing a huge traffic jam. Your best option is to get out and explore, so stop by the drugstore and pick up plenty of wet towels — they’ll heal the sunstroke you’re sure to suffer.
There are dozens of interesting things to see/do in the desert, so check it out and be sure to say hello to any friendly miners you meet! By the time you’re done, the traffic jam should be cleared up.
Challenges
- Learn and recite the whole coffee scene from memory.
- No coins, please! Don’t equip the Mr. Saturn Coin or the Coin of Slumber.
- Fight Trillionage Sprout with 2 or more people “Mashroomized”.
- Fight 5 Criminal Caterpillars.
- Fight each type of desert creature twice.
- Collect every item that can be found in the desert.
- Talk to the sesame seeds, the sunbathers, and all the old bones.
- Get all four of the prize items from the slot machine game.
- Don’t heal any sunstrokes at all. Don’t be a wimp!
- Fight a Criminal Caterpillar and win WITHOUT sneaking up from behind and getting an instant win.
