Today's Gameplay Point:


Stunning Entrance Now that you're rested up thanks to Brickroad, continue to Dr. Andonut's Lab. Unfortunately (or fortunately), your good friend Bubble Monkey leaves you for a...lady monkey (is that what they're called?). Once you get Dr. Andonuts Sky Runner, free your friends, fight the Boogey Tent, and liberate the town from the Zombies. Once the Zombies are captured, save your game.


Today's Challenges:


  • Fight 5 Cave Boys (Here are the guidelines; no Cheap Bracelet, and you can only heal yourself with ITEMS).
  • Get Jeff at least 5 levels ahead of Ness before the end of the GPP.
  • When in Threed, have only Paula and Jeff attack any enemies. Ness will just defend.
  • When fighting Boogey Tent, try a battle like this: Only Jeff can attack (not using a big bottle rocket), but Paula can use Pray and Defend, and Ness can defend/use shields on Jeff.


Mother 2 Factoids:


I wonder if it's the same 'Labo' in that bad Gary Coleman Show cartoon... Another name change. Makes sense though. Labo is lab, and lab is presumably labo. Lobo means wolf in Spanish, so don't confuse the two.

Gameplay Hints/Tips:


Big, slow, and clumsy As you continue through Winters you're going to encounter those legendary cave boys. Even if you don't have the proper equipment to fight them, you'll have a very good chance of running away from them. They seem to be very clumsy, and will miss hitting you rather often. But if you do defeat them, you're garanteed a Picnic Lunch. Once in Threed, the Boogey Tent is rather easy. An all out PSI attack, and Jeffs bombs/bottle rockets will make short work of the ghoulish tent. Physical attacks won't be as effective since it can use PSI Flash and make you cry.
