Today's Gameplay Point:


Very threatening. This is a relatively long one, so hang on! Once you're equipped with all of the powerful Saturn Valley goods, head on over to the Grapefruit falls to face Belch. Once you make him no more than a pile if nasty ooze, continue to face the Trillionage Sprout, and get the Milky Well melody.


Today's Challenges:


  • Fight 25 Foppys.
  • No PSI in the factory. Only items can be used.
  • Fight the Trillionage sprout with at least TWO of your party members "Mushroomized".
  • Don't eqiup the Mr. Saturn Coin, or the Coin of Slumber.


Mother 2 Factoids:


I don't think there's JUST coffee in here... The coffee scene was basically a direct translation. But there are some interesting facts about the Mother 2 version. For example, this is one of the points in the game that uses, Kanji (a complex language of written characters, adopted by China over 1000 years ago). The use of Kanji makes this part of the game unique. Another difference is the very last paragraph. It's translation is:
May the goddess of good fortune always smile upon you....
Interesting, eh?

Gameplay Hints/Tips:


Again, when all else fails, use Fire. Do you have the Slingshot equipped? You shouldn't because it's a lousy weapon. It took me 5 years to realize this. Anyway, there's a few more hints for facing Belch's Fly Honey factory. Don't go looking in the other rooms of the factory until Belch is defeated. That way you can get the items without getting hurt. Secondly, make use of the legendary Butterfly room. Use it to heal yourself, or just stay in the area if you want to build your level. Now as for going to face the Trillionage sprout, be sure to have the coins equipped. Secondly, avoid the mushrooms at all costs. Finally, simply use an all out PSI Offence on the Trillionage Sprout, and any weapons Jeff may have. Beware his evil glare however.
