Today's Gameplay Point:


Yes ALT tags are neat. They're the best part about this event! I don't know what else to say. Now it's time for one of the hardest parts of the game, the Mole Mines. Fighting all the moles without a break can be pretty stressful. But the items throughout the mine will help you out most of the way. Try out the challenges to really test your skills.


Today's Challenges:


  • Don't use Freeze or Bottle Rockets on the Guardian Diggers. Think of other clever ways to beat them.
  • Collect every item in the Mole Maze, before you FIGHT the moles (exclude the items behind the moles).
  • Have the enemy surprise attack you every time.
  • Don't use any Life Noodles.


Mother 2 Factoids:


No, it's not the Debt. Store (I stole this line from Tomato) There aren't very many changes in Dusty Dunes, so we'll just look at Fourside. As you can see in the picture "Department" was changed to "Dept. Store", to show stupid American children that it is a store. There were several other slight name changes in Fourside as well. Such as the Topolla Theater called "Topollo" and the Monotoli building being called "Monotoly". I guess the "i" makes it sound Italian, and therefore very sinister and evil.

Gameplay Hints/Tips:


Jeff is a professional arsenist. The mole caves aren't too bad if you have a high enough levels, and know how to attack the moles. Remember, the Mole always has a power shield equipped. So either use the most powerful PSI Freeze attack, or Jeff's Big Bottle Rockets. However, if the rockets don't kill in one blow, they'll be deflected back onto Jeff. But the real danger is with other enemies in the mine. With their ability to poison, paralyze, and inflict great damage, you're going to want various healing items with you. Hope you stocked up on Peanut Cheese Bars, because those are a BIG help here.
