Today's Gameplay Point:


Sounds like a WILD party is going down. Time for one of those things that spoils the pudding that is EarthBound. This can be a real challenge if your levels are low. I'm talking about the Pyramid. Lot's of powerful and poisonous critters, so be prepared. Once you succeed in your quest of the Hawk Eye, save your game inside of Dungeon Man.


Today's Challenges:


  • Don't use PSI to heal any ailments during the GPP.
  • Collect every item in the Pyramid.
  • Don't let anyone get killed.
  • Don't use PSI Freeze.


Mother 2 Factoids:


Don! Don! Don!  You don't hear your door say 'knock'.

Has nothing to do with today's GPP, since I could not get the needed info for this GPP. Furthermore, the "knock" is really "don", which means knock. In other unrelated changes, ATM (the sign above the room) is really CARD. Amazing, eh? Are you surprised by these changes? No? Good.

Gameplay Hints/Tips:


Finding a Master Criminal Caterpillar is like finding chunks of gold in your cereal. Before going into the Pyramid make sure you have plenty of reviving items. You'll also be using a lot of heavy PSI in here too. So keep that in mind. Another short hint is that Jeff's HP sucker will work very well against all the "mummy-type" enemies. Finally, you'll want to take advantage of the Master Criminal Caterpillars. As you can see they give you ample EXP. This one was a life saver since I found it before I entered the pyramids. But be sure to read Tomato's Scaraba EXP. trick if you want to get an ENORMOUS boost in your levels. It involves finding many MCC's. So try that out.
