Today's Gameplay Point:


Ha ha! I got it. Will you get it too? Now it's up to you to save Apple Kid and other assorted people from throughout the EarthBound World. That's going to be the main goal for today's GPP. Once you get to Winters, get to the Stonehenge base as soon as you can and defeat the Starman DX. Once you rescue everyone, save your game, and prepare to begin some shyness research in the Onett Library.


Today's Challenges:


  • Get one of your characters Diamondnized before entering Stonehenge, and keep it that way. Choose wisely.
  • Again, no bottle rockets on Starman DX.
  • Only PSI Thunder can be used against Starman DX. Physical attacks can also be used.
  • Get the Sword of Kings! (you didn't see this coming did you?)
  • Get all the items before fighting SDX.
  • Use your Casey Bat during the entire GPP

Yeah, that's right. This pic was taken early in the game. I had to save it for times like this.

FINALLY! An INTERESTING change! I'm sure you all were wondering "Hmmm, the Pencil is a Squid...so what's the eraser?" Well, here's your answer...sort of. I don't really understand what this thing is and why it's there, but according to Tomato's site, it is a "wooden limbless doll". The reason it's there is because it is supposed to be a Japanese play on words. Something we may never understand...

Gameplay Hints/Tips:


Ambush them from the side, and you will get the green surprise. There's a lot of neat stuff in the Stonehenge base. And of course there's a lot of deadly things too. But you can make encounters with Starmen a lot easier, if you approach them like in the screenshot. This is also good if you're looking for that Sword of Kings. Once you shut down the base, make sure to seek out the Cup of Lifenoodles and the Guts Capsule.
